Description

The eBACgw-Notifier is a BACnet gateway to the CEI-ABI protocol implemented by Notifier AM2000/ AM4000/ AM6000 fire alarm systems.
The device integrates the whole building fire alarm network into the BACnet network.

Application
The eBACgw-Notifier gateway is suitable into building automation plants, where is neeeded to integrate one or more Notifier AM2000/ AM4000/AM6000, into one BACnet network. The whole fire detection panel is mapped on BACnet through the automatic allocation of specific BACnet objects. With these objects is possible to interact according to the standard rules.
The gateway shows all I/O modules, smoke and gas sensors realtime status. Furthermore the gateway supplies other information as sensor, module and area names, and areas and physical devices association as they are configured in the central. Alarm and notification events can be set-up on the basis of user defined limits or change of state of any managed object.
Showing smoke and gas sensors analog value, it's possible to implement predictive diagnostic rules useful to avoid false alarms due to the dust accumulated into the sensors.
